The movie Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2018) was her initial casting but she got sacked from the film because of scheduling issues. She was replaced by Melissa McCarthy who, due to Marielle Heller's decision, earned her the much acclaim she had throughout her performance. Moore and her departure were relatively friendly, and she went on to produce a few great films, such as Gloria Bell and The Glorias. It shows how she overcomes her failure to be part of Hollywood's list for good.
