Gellar and Prinze met while filming I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997. As they filmed, their chemistry for the movie became a real-life relationship. They got married in 2002 and now have two children.
Many of the moments of family fun are shared on social media about the work that Scooby-Doo and Buffy the Vampire Slayer have done. Gellar has continued to work as an actress, and Prinze returned to TV with the short-lived run of Fancy Pants (2023).
