Stone and Garfield met while working on The Amazing Spider-Man in 2010; they started dating not much after. Their romance though was short-lived but darling for fans, and the duo remain good friends. Stone further went on to win her first Oscar in La La Land (2016), while Garfield was being cited in Hacksaw Ridge (2016).
There is respect for the talent that each holds toward one another from interviews. Though they are no longer romantic, their friendship is sometimes admired by their fans.
