Located in a one-story community college called Greendale Community College, it centers around a colorful group of characters who bond with each other and navigate their classes, relationships, and just plain weird goings-on around campus.
Every character is unique, from the self-centered Jeff to the weird Abed, infusing the show with comical and dramatic moments. Meta-humor, pop culture references, and unorthodox narration techniques, episodes, and parodies most notably establish it as different from many other sitcoms.
