Another actor who played a role in the film was Alfred Burke, who portrayed Armando Dippet, the headmaster of Hogwarts when Dumbledore was a student. He appeared in flashback scenes that shed light on the long history of Hogwarts School. Burke is part of a limited but vivid tapestry of Hogwarts' past. He died in February 2011, at the age of 92. This man has an incredible legacy as one of the great performers of cinema and on the stage.
