Eric Sykes played Frank Bryce, the Muggle gardener who tended Voldemort's paternal grandparents' house. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, his character has a sad end when he listens in on a conversation Voldemort has with his snake, Nagini, in the dilapidated Riddle house. The fine actor and comedian added meaning to the ill-fated character. He died on July 4, 2012, and left behind a rich legacy of film, television, and comedy that fans continue to cherish.
