She played the role of magic historian Bathilda Bagshot in the movie Deathly Hallows - Part One. Bagshot is widely known as the author of A History of Magic. In the film, she is shot off-screen and appears as a reanimated corpse in which Voldemort's snake, Nagini, resides. Douglas died on September 8, 2016.
