Crazy Rich Asians is quite a beloved romantic comedy. It is about Rachel and Nick, a couple who meet in New York. When Nick takes Rachel to Singapore to meet his family for a wedding, Rachel discovers that Nick is an extremely wealthy old-money billionaire. Their stark social inequality starts creating an issue in their relationship. Nick’s mother wants Nick to marry somebody of their own social class, but Nick has his eyes set on Rachel.
