10 Things I Hate About You is another coming-of-age, romantic comedy film, which is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play - The Taming Of The Shrew. It is about two sisters, Bianca and Kate. Bianca is a socially active and outgoing person and wants to date a boy. But her father has a rule that she can only date when her sister Kate does. Kate is anything but affectionate. She hates love and everything romantic and does not believe in the concept of true love. So Bianca makes a plan to trap Kate in a relationship and hires Patrick, a rule-breaking boy for the job.
