Directed by and starring Robert Redford, The Horse Whisperer is a tale of powerful healing and redemption. In the movie, a little girl and her horse Pilgrim, are left emotionally and physically marked after a car accident. An isolated horse trainer, Tom Booker, is brought in to soothe the horse's mind, but while doing this, he helps the girl and her family regain their lost sanity. The movie, based on Nicholas Evans' 1995 novel by the same name, is set against the serene Montana landscape and perfectly captures the bond between humans and animals.
