In The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, Gabriel Macht played Chris, the older brother of the protagonist, Sebastian. The movie chronicles the coming-of-age experience of Sebastian while Macht's character acts as a balancing influence on the otherwise chaotic family life. In this indie drama, which has received much acclaim for its performances, Macht proved his acting prowess at an early stage in his career. Although Chris was a supporting character, Macht's performance as a reliable but flawed brother enhanced the movie.
