Tony Stark's cameo in the 2008 movie, The Incredible Hulk was one of the first moments of interconnectedness and formation of the MCU, establishing itself as a franchise. In true Marvel fashion, this scene takes place during the post-credits. When General Ross is sitting at a bar and Tony walks up to him and says, "We Are putting a team together”, we see the initiation of the Avengers.
