Celebrities brought their A-game to the Toronto International Film Festival 2025.

One of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, TIFF is in full swing, and besides the spectacular films that are being presented, the celebrities walking the carpet are also worth watching.

The carpet was graced by the likes of actors, singers, and creators like Anya Taylor-Joy, Charli XCX, Natalie Portman, Elle Fanning, and more. Here are the best looks spotted at TIFF 2025.

Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy came dressed in Dior to support the film Sacrifice, giving us a sneak peek of what to expect from Jonathan Anderson's take on the brand as he debuts his first womenswear collection with the brand this October. The avant-garde look was an ice blue dress with a folded paper effect at the bottom. The actress paired the look with jewelry from Tiffany, being an ambassador to the brand.

Charli XCX

Brat Summer queen Charli XCX was also spotted at the Sacrifice premiere in a lacy, formal take on a slip dress. The teal-colored dress was by Saint Laurent, designed by Anthony Vaccarello.

Kirsten Dunst is back in the spotlight, and she is definitely shining dressed in a fully lacy and sheer off-the-shoulder white dress from Julie de Libran. The Spider-Man actress was there in support of the Gala World Premiere of her film Roofman with her co-star Channing Tatum.

Angelina Jolie was in all her minimalistic glory at the film festival, wearing a Gabriela Hearst trenchcoat dress with subtle elements of tailored styling at the premiere of her film Couture at the Princess of Wales Theatre on September 7.

Baz Luhrmann

Director Baz Luhrmann might just be the underrated fashion guru that people need to talk about, as he served not one but multiple jazzy and out-of-the-box looks at the film festival. Luhrmann, whose film Frankenstein was being presented, adhered to the gothic vibe of the film and opted for an all-black ensemble of shiny black pants and a mock neck shirt. He paired the look with black accessories, including a pair of Y2K sunglasses and a grey oversized coat for added effect.

Naomi Scott

Aladdin actress Naomi Scott is known for her androgynous outfits, and this look was no different. A masterclass in unisex dressing, Scott opted for a monochromatic black formal look comprising a tie tied around oversized collars of a black shirt and matching pants. She adorned the look with cherry red glasses and bobby pins.

Mia Goth, who is part of the Frankenstein cast, went for more of a Frankenstein's bride vibe with her all-white plunging dress and statement necklace. The waist of the dress was cinched with a black pleated sash, adding to the aesthetic.

Rami Malek

Rami Malek went for a more suave look with his all-black Ralph Lauren ensemble, which was paired with Cartier jewelry and blue-black tinted rectangle frames. He attended the premiere of Nuremberg at the Roy Thomson Hall.

Euphoria actress Maude Apatow made her directorial debut with the film Poetic License and had the perfect ensemble to celebrate the milestone. Apatow, who was celebrating the premiere with her mother, Leslie Mann, was in Valentino Resort 2026 with Jessica McCormack jewelry. The look comprised a lilac slip dress with embellishments paired with a matching embellished shrug with fur detailing.

Josh O'Connor showed exactly how to elevate a simple black tuxedo by pairing it with a black and white checkered sweater inside and an oversized white bow tie. The look was from Dior Men’s Spring 2026 ready-to-wear by Jonathan Anderson.

Some of the most highly anticipated titles were presented at the festival, including Rian Johnson’s newest Knives Out installment, Chloé Zhao’s adaptation of Hamnet, and Nia DaCosta’s queer reimagining of Hedda Gabler.
