Any day, anywhere, whether it's a boring Sunday or a lazy day, moviegoers can always pick action movies to make their day better. Of course, it's not just action movies; there are innumerable movies and genres too, but since this list is about action movies, we need to focus on that, you know?

In this list below, you'll find a film led entirely by a one-man army, or at least a version of an army. Also, there's an army involved, okay? While readers may not agree with this list, they will surely agree that the action sequences in these movies are full of flavor. One of them will give you a taste of iron, actually, a lot. A hint: that's number two on the list. So make sure to stick around until the end.

Furthermore, if you've seen any of these movies, be sure to tell us in the comments after reading this.

Action movies that can be re-watched any time

5. Crank (2006)

This movie is for all of us lazy deadbeats. Think about this: if you were given a condition that you would die if your heart rate dropped below a certain number, would you still be lazy? That's the plot of this movie, although the lead, Chev Chelios, played by Jason Statham, isn't a lazy deadbeat but an assassin who has to keep his heart rate above that level to stay alive.

4. 12 Strong (2018)

The film also has a different title, 12 Strong: The Declassified True Story of the Horse Soldiers, which, as you might guess, is about 12 soldiers. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Michael Shannon, Michael Peña, and others as U.S. Army Special Forces, sent to Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks. While these soldiers are skilled with guns on foot, wait until you see them riding horses in these mountains.

3. Hardcore Henry (2015)

The best part of Hardcore Henry is that it appeals not only to action movie fans but also to first-person shooter game fans. The downside is, you'll never see the face of the protagonist, the titular Henry, who is played by Sergey Valyaev, Andrei Dementiev, Ilya Naishuller, David Malic, and others.

From the moment this film starts, you'll feel like you've stepped into one of those Call of Duty or Battlefield games and get an adrenaline rush. Sharlto Copley makes it more game-like, as he is always respawning after dying.

2. Kill Bill. Vol 1 (2003)

What action movie list doesn't include this Quentin Tarantino masterpiece? Anyone with such a list should reconsider it. We keep Kill Bill Vol. 1 on the list because you'll have to watch Vol. 2 anyway (evil smiles). The film follows the Bride (Uma Thurman), who is determined on revenge.

Her character, the antagonists, the action sequences, and more are full of action and blood. Add that irresistible storyline, and your day is made. This is also the perfect time to watch them because Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, Tarantino's original vision, is being released in theaters this December. “Bang bang, he shot me down. Bang bang, I hit the ground. Bang bang, that awful sound.” Those lyrics still hit hard today.

1. The A-Team (2010)

If you want to learn how to fly a tank or jump-start a van, get in touch with Templeton "Face" Peck (Bradley Cooper) and H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock (Sharlto Copley). The 2010 film is based on the original action-packed TV series of the same name, so you can expect action sequences that you would want to watch again and again and again.
