Archie Panjabi was last seen in a feature film almost a decade ago, and then she continued to appear in a variety of TV series. Recently, she portrayed a new incarnation of The Rani, a renegade Time Lord in Doctor Who. Other than that, she also appeared in shows like Snowpiercer, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Blindspot, and more.

For her performances on TV, she has won a range of accolades that reflect her acting range. As of now, she has a Primetime Emmy Award, a Cannes International Film Festival Award, and more.

Apart from a variety of TV shows, she has also given some interesting performances in movies too, so we picked five of them for this list. She was a part of an Oscar-winning movie called The Constant Gardener. We are mentioning it here as it didn't make it to the list. Let's see which of them made it then.

The 2015 disaster film was a commercial hit as it made $474 million against its $110 million budget. It's about an earthquake that leaves the West Coast of the United States in total chaos. While Dwayne Johnson was the film's lead, Archie Panjabi played a journalist, Serena Johnson, who is among the people trying to give an advance warning about this natural calamity. This is the last feature-length film the actress appeared in.

3. A Mighty Heart

Commercially speaking, this film was a failure. Critically, it was a banger. The Dan Futterman- and Angelina Jolie-led film is based on the true story of the kidnapping of The Wall Street Journal's Daniel Pearl (Futterman). Archie Panjabi played Asra Nomani, a colleague of Daniel.

2. Yasmin

The 2004 movie is about a woman whose husband is arrested as he is suspected to be involved in the September 11 attacks. Following this, she campaigns for his release. The film doesn't have enough reviews on Rotten Tomatoes for its Tomatometer score, but the Popcornmeter shows an 87% approval from the audience.

It's been over two decades since this masterpiece arrived, and it still hits the same as it did back when it was released in 2002. It is about breaking stereotypes, where Jesminder Bhamra (Parminder Nagra) and Juliette Paxton (Keira Knightley) go after their dream of becoming footballers.

To this date, it remains the highest-grossing football/soccer film according to the Guinness Book of World Records, earning $76 million against its $5.6 million budget.
