The talented Kristen Wiig is currently working on a couple of projects, Masters of the Universe and Cut Off. She will be the voice of Roboto in the former and her role for the latter is yet to be announced. However, she is joined by the likes of Jonah Hill, Bette Midler, and Nathan Lane, whose roles aren't announced either.

While a talented actress, she is also known for screenwriting, most popularly for the 2011 critical and commercial hit Bridesmaids. It made $306 million on a $32 million budget and currently holds an 89% score on the review aggregator platform Rotten Tomatoes.

We have to wait to see her presence in a feature until June 2026, which is when Masters of the Universe is set for a release. Cut Off is set for a release the following month. So before we get there, here are some of the movies that you can watch while waiting for her next movies to come. You'll get to know the range she brings with her with these movies listed here.

5. Adventureland (2009)

First on this list is the 2009 comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg in the lead, Adventureland. Kristen Wiig played the manager of the titular Adventureland, Paulette, and wife of the assistant manager Bobby, played by Bill Hader. While her husband's a hotheaded man, she is quite the opposite, much calmer. The couple brings a unique balance to the movie. Like Kristen Wiig's Bridesmaids, this film also sits with an 89% Rotten Tomatoes score.

4. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013)

Steve Carell's character in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) was perhaps the weirdest in the entire film. In its 2013 sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, he got his match, Chani, played by Wiig. Both of them were made for each other, as one can tell from their interaction when she was just standing there watching a ringing telephone; there are moments she manages to outshine Carell in the movie.

3. How to Train Your Dragon (2010)

We recently got a live-action version of the 2010 animated flick, How to Train Your Dragon. There were quarrelsome and funny twins in the film, Ruffnut Thorston and Tuffnut Thorston, played by Bronwyn James and Harry Trevaldwyn. However, Kristen Wiig and T.J. Miller were behind the voices of these characters in the animated version. The twins are chaotic and annoying at times, but their sense of humor is without doubt one of their best traits.

2. Bridesmaids (2011)

We have already mentioned Bridesmaids as one of the actress's best films. We are putting it on second on this list. While she was a screenwriter for this project, she was also the lead in the movie, portraying the stressed Annie Walker, whose life is in a downward spiral. She was also nominated for an Oscar, though it was for Best Original Screenplay, a nomination she shared with Annie Mumolo, who also co-wrote the film.

1. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013)

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty shouldn't just be on our Kristen Wiig's must-watch films list but also on your list of must-watch films too. If you are looking for a feel-good movie, this Ben Stiller-led film is for you. In the film, she plays the love interest of the daydreamer Walter Mitty (Stiller), Cheryl Melhoff, a co-worker and the only positive presence in his life, much like what Ted was to Annie in Bridesmaids. Other than Stiller and Wiig, you will find a Sean Penn embracing nature in the mountains too.
