In it, the actor plays Sam Carmichael, who works as an architect and is the father-in-law of Sky. He is a sensitive and tender man who ensures people around him are happy. 2) The Ghost Writer (2010)

The Ghost Writer is a film in the neo-noir psychological thriller genre. Directed by Roman Polanski, the film is an adaptation of the 2007 book The Ghost. Brosnan plays the role of Adam Lang, an ex-British Prime Minister. His performance is filled with subtlety and is on another spectrum compared to his James Bond roles. 3) Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)

Mrs. Doubtfire remains one of the few films that showcased the comedic timing of Pierce Brosnan. In this Chris Columbus-directed comedy flick, he plays the role of Stu Dunmeyer, who likes Miranda, which leads to his rift with Daniel (Robin Williams). He effectively holds his own with Williams and provides physical gags throughout the film. It can be viewed on Disney+.


4) Mars Attacks! (1996)

This 1996 science fiction comedy film by Tim Burton has Brosnan portraying the role of Professor Donald Kessler. The brief yet impactful role of a man trying to help the American President prepare the country for a potential invasion from the aliens. The actor plays into the goofiness of the film and succeeds. 5) The World's End (2013)

Throughout his career, Brosnan has played the protagonist in most of his films. However, he changed that in this Edgar Wright-directed action comedy flick. He plays the role of the villainous teacher Guy Shepard, who runs into ex-student Gary King (played by Simon Pegg) on a pub crawl. While King really admired Shepard, he realizes that the latter has been affected by an alien force. The film is available on Prime Video via a rent option.
