Street Fighter (2026) is set to be the third adaptation of the Capcom video game of the same name. More than a week ago, the film officially announced its cast list and the exceptional ensemble of actors who would be taking over the roles of these fighters in the upcoming film.

The one actor who stood out among the likes of Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, and Jason Momoa was the renowned rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who is set to take over as Balrog in the forthcoming film.

The rapper-turned-actor recently took to his social media to reveal videos of himself training for the physically demanding role in Street Fighter. While the dedicated workout sessions, as revealed by videos of him boxing and skipping, look extremely grueling and intense, fans were quick to notice that the rapper had donned a new hairstyle.

The hairstyle in question was nothing other than Balrog's game-accurate hairstyle. Balrog's hairstyle is achieved by styling the hair into braids, but the braids are noticeably wide, leading to pointed shapes on the front of the head. The hairstyle made its first appearance in the Street Fighter game, and even then, it was inspired by Mike Tyson's hairstyle in the 80s.

Now defined as a staple Balrog hairstyle in Street Fighter, the shocking transformation from the rapper just shows how dedicated he is to this role. Apart from the new hairstyle and the training videos, the dedication and grueling hard work shone through in just a few seconds.

It can be easy for the audience to judge the rapper's position on the cast; however, it seems 50 Cent is more than just committed and dedicated to proving everyone doubting him wrong. The hairstyle reveal has left fans on the internet dumbfounded and excited at the same time to witness 50 Cent's dedicated transformation into Balrog for the live-action film.

Nonetheless, the training videos and cast announcements for Street Fighter show how committed the film is to ensuring that the ensemble cast put together for the film is nothing short of perfect. We'll have to wait until October 16, 2026, to find out how well this combination of artists turns out for the film.
