Directed by Celine Song, Materialists is a romance movie starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans. The movie is set against New York’s luxury-driven dating culture and focuses on the love triangle between Lucy (Johnson), who is a matchmaker; John (Evans), who is Lucy’s ex-boyfriend; and Harry (Pascal), who is a wealthy billionaire. The movie has themes of wealth, class, love, and modern dating and was released recently on June 13, 2025.
