The ending of a movie is inarguably one of the most crucial elements in the movie, for it shapes the movie to be something that the audience would take back home with them. A well-crafted ending justly shapes the audience’s opinion of the movie. The ending itself can tie together complex themes, and often offer unexpected twists, and leave the viewers deep in thought, long after the credits have rolled. The movie Sinners released in the United States and Canada on April 18, 2025. The movie stars Michael B. Jordan as criminal twin brothers, along with the rest of the cast. The story is set in 1932 in the Mississippi Delta. The identical twins, Smoke and Stack, played by Michael B. Jordan, return to Clarksdale, Mississippi, after years spent for the Chicago Outfit. Their return to their hometown was driven by their goal of starting a juke joint to provide a space for the Black community. This journey of theirs was disrupted when they encounter a vampire clan led by Remmick, who seeks to exploit their vulnerable community. The ending of the movie reveals a chilling twist, the juke joint’s establishment involved compromising with the KKK, which set the stage for a final, deadly confrontation. Despite Sammie’s father’s pleas for him to abandon his music, he chooses his path as a blues musician. Sammie manages to survive and returns to his father’s church. The film ends with a flash forward to Sammie’s later life. The ending, although tragic, has been considered to be powerful and symbolic, exploring the themes of redemption, legacy, and the supernatural power of music. Smoke’s sacrifice depicts his internal struggle and his urge to atone for his past life. The ending highlights the fact that even those who have committed terrible acts are capable of finding redemption.

This 2025 movie, is a science fiction thriller film, starring Sophie Thatcher, and Jack Quaid as a couple who set out on a weekend getaway with their friends to a remote cabin, which in turn unravels into chaos. Eventually it gets revealed that one of the guests happens to be a “companion robot”. Iris goes to meet her boyfriend Josh for the first time, and they later travel to an isolated lake house to meet up with their friends Kat, Eli and Patrick along with Sergey, who happens to be Kat’s boyfriend. Sergey attempts to sexually assault Iris by the lake, and Iris, in order to defend herself, ends up stabbing Sergey, resulting in his death. It later on gets revealed that Iris happens to be the “companion robot” that Josh was renting from a robotics company. The film has portrayed Iris to be this obedient I robot companion who ultimately gains control of her own system upon which she becomes capable of manipulating Josh into a vulnerable position where she can ultimately kill him. Iris’ confrontation with Josh, exploiting his vulnerabilities, and insecurities, in order to get him to help her gain control of her own body and systems brings an end to Josh’s influence on her. The ending brings about hope for Iris to have a new life devoid of Josh’s control.

Mickey 17 is a science fiction black comedy film, starring Robert Pattinson as the lead, alongside Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo.

The plot’s set in the year 2054, and it follows a man who has joined a space colony as an “Expendable”, or a disposable worker who gets cloned each and every time he perishes. The film was released theatrically in the United States, on the March 7, 2025.

In 2050, in an attempt to escape a murderous loan shark, Mickey Barner and his friend Timo join a spaceship crew with the intent to colonize the ice-planet Nifheim. The film concludes on a destructive note. The cloning device gets destroyed and that marks the end of the program. After the death of the character Marshall, and the subsequent imprisonment of his accomplices, Nasha, takes over as leader. It is Nasha who ensures the destruction of the cloning device in order to put an end to the expendable program. The dream sequence has been interpreted as a potential nightmare for Mickey. It suggests appearances can be deceptive. The seemingly hopeful nature of the ending might not be as definitive as it appears to be. The ending brings about the core essence of the film, a mixed bag of hope and uncertainty. The destruction of the device ensured that the dream was most likely a vision rather than a potential reality.

The 2025 spy thriller named “Black Bag”, is directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by David Koepp. The film stars, Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Marsia Abela, Tom Burke, Naomi Harris among others. The movie revolves around a British intelligence officer named George Woodhouse played by Michael Fassbender, who has been assigned the job of investigating a list of suspected traitors, one of whom happens to be his wife, Kathryn played Cate Blanchett. Already suspecting Kathryn, Woodhouse drugs his wife and other colleagues at the Cyber Security Centre, at a dinner party in order to learn the truth. During this dinner party a lot of secrets get dug up, along with the fact that Freddie had been cheating on Clarissa, upon which, she proceeds to stab Freddie in the hand. Meacham, George’s superior, died of a heart attack at this event. George’s suspicions about Kathryn got intensified. The ending of the movie, is confrontational in nature, wherein Geroge reveals photos of James selling “Severus” to the Russians. Just as James is about to shoot George, after already having shot at him twice, Kathryn intervenes and saves her husband by fatally shooting James. This marked the unending love the couple had for each other despite all the differences. The ending prompts the audience to question concepts like love, loyalty, and deception and other complexities.

This movie is an American science fiction comedy, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Rideback. The movie stars Maia Kealoha in her film debut as Lilo Pelekai, and the original “Lilo & Stitch” writer, Chris Sanders as Stitch. The movie revolves around the orphaned Hawaiian girl Lilo Pelekai and the escaped alien experiment Stitch designed to cause chaos. They form a close bond. The movie follows the journey of their friendship as it focuses on the challenges faced by Lilo, and Stitch’s destructive nature from the get go. Lilo and her sister Nani have been depicted as orphaned kids struggling to cope with the recent loss of their parents. Lilo adopts Stitch from an animal shelter, and is completely unaware of the fact that he is an alien. Lilo’s love and nurturing tendencies transform Stitch and help him overcome his destructive nature. Stitch who was designed to wreak havoc, transforms into a protective being and actually uses his powers to protect Lilo and Nani, he goes to the extent of putting his own life at stake. The Grand Councilman was impressed by Stitch’s transformed nature and Lilo’s legal ownership of Stitch allowed him to stay back on earth. The ending of the movie signifies the power of love and friendship. The concept of “ohana” gets highlighted in the ending of the movie, making it a memorable movie for the audience.


Final Destination: Bloodlines

This 2025 movie released in the United States, on May 16, 2025. The film stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana as a college student who begins experiencing visions linked to a premonition from 1968 that once helped prevent a deadly structural collapse. She inherits this ability from her dying grandmother. She gets warned that “Death” was coming for her and her family. “Death” hunts the ones who have escaped the previous tragedy. As Stefani and family desperately try to navigate their way through these unforeseen events, Death’s fatal wrath hounds them. Stefani and her brother attempt to end the cycle of fatalities by having Stefani be revived after being drowned. Despite these measures, the cycle of death still continues and they get killed by a derailed train. The ending of the film leaves the audience to wonder if the cycle will continue or not thus making it impossible for them to not want to watch any other movies made as a sequel or prequel to this one.

The movie “Thunderbolts*” is a superhero film based on Marvel Comics, featuring the team “Thunderbolts*”. The film has been directed by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo, and stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan among others. The film explores a psychological toll on the characters particularly focusing on Bob, the Sentry who has been struggling with depression and a dark inner entity known as “Void”. In the ending of the movie, “Thunderbolts*”, the group, has now officially become the “New Avengers” and are now under Valentina’s control and in the midst of all this Yelena has been threatening to betray them yet again. Thus in the ending the audience is introduced to a new set of superheroes, “New Avengers.”
