But before you do that, you can read this list below, and then perhaps you might want to visit these locations to be at the center of some of the fantastic sequences that have been shot over the years. Let's dive into them now.
Marvel filming locations you need to visit
7. Cleveland, Ohio (Loki's Platform in The Avengers)
We will begin this list with Marvel's The Avengers. The scene where Loki is showing his dominance by ordering the people of New York to kneel, and one old man refuses to do that, was shot in Ohio's Public Square. That is also when Tony Stark hacked into the Quinjet. Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and Barton (Jeremy Renner) were in.
6. Inglewood, California (Randy's Donut in Iron Man 2)
Who can forget that iconic scene where Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) was sitting inside the giant donut, taking bites of a small donut? That's when Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) asks him to exit the donut. It was shot outside the real Randy's Donuts in Inglewood. However, the interior scenes were from Yum Yum Donuts.
5. Aosta Valley, Italy (Hydra Research Base in Avengers: Age of Ultron)
In Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, the team is looking for Loki's Scepter inside a fort-like facility that belonged to Hydra. This is actually Fort Bard we are looking at, which is located in the Aosta Valley of Italy.
4. Schkeuditz, Germany (The airport battle in Captain America: Civil War)
Captain America: Civil War has a couple of sequences that people can't simply forget. One is the fight between Cap (Chris Evans), Tony, and Bucky (Sebastian Stan), and the airport scene where team Cap vs. team Tony happened. It was shot at Germany's Leipzig/Halle Airport.
3. Southeast Queensland, Australia (Forests of Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok)
Heimdall (Idris Elba) is leading a bunch of Asgardians through these forests in Thor: Ragnarok. While a majority of the Marvel films used sound stages for filming, these particular sequences feature Tamborine National Park and Cedar Creek Falls, located in Southeast Queensland.
2. Atlanta, Georgia (Warrior's Fall in Black Panther)
One of the scenic shots in the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes from Black Panther, where the warriors are fighting at a waterfall called the Warrior Falls in the film. That's actually Iguazu Falls in Atlanta.
1. Shalom Grill, Los Angeles (Shawarma Palace in The Avengers)
We will end this list with the same Marvel film it began with, The Avengers. After the original six have defeated Loki, they are in for a break at the Shawarma Palace, a joint that's actually Shalom Grill today but was a different joint when the film was shot, called Elat Burger.
