7 MCU movies every fan must re-watch before Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars

Avengers: Doomsday will be released a year from now. The film is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and it's directed by the Russo brothers, who had last helmed 2019's Endgame. Several actors are also returning as their superhero characters in the film.

Marvel Studios will release it theatrically on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase Six. Avengers: Secret Wars will also release on December 17, 2027, and will serve as a direct sequel.
