Aerosmith and Yungblud have officially released their latest five-track EP, One More Time. It is the first original Aerosmith material in more than a decade. The project has brought Steven Tyler and Joe Perry together. They are the two surviving members of Aerosmith's hit era. They collaborated with Dominic "Yungblud" Harrison for this new project.

Aerosmith and Yungblud One More Time: Every track ranked from best to worst
1. My Only Angel
This track opens the One More Time EP. My Only Angel does the most work in setting the tone of the record. The arrangement has been done in such a way that IT gives space to a notable chorus and a midtempo groove. Steven Tyler's famous rasp is present in the song. Matt Sorum's drums on this track add a praiseworthy rock pulse. Notable lyrics of My Only Angel include:
"Would you cry if I called you my angel?/ Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta lеave you one more timе/ Could you fly, my only angel?/ Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you far behind"
2. A Thousand Days
This is Yungblud and Aerosmith's latest EP's most interesting song. The track features a notable songwriting chemistry between the artists. The duet format is very effective here. The interplay between Tyler and Yungblud sounds very natural. Joe Perry's guitar work here is also supportive. They sing:
"Someone like you don't belong down on earth with me/ Pain like this don't come so easily/ You got a little fire going on in you head/ Maybe we can turn it up in my cold bed/ Because, babe, heaven's gonna burn down eventually"
3. Problems
This is a straightforward rocker with a significant riff. The arrangement sounds fun. However, it is not as deep as the top two tracks. Perry's riff is very prominent in this song. Yungblud's vocals come with a swagger. Overall, Problems is mainly hook-driven as the production seemingly aims for punch. Some of the song's notable lines are:
"Won't you take me to your heaven?/ Give me what I want, give me what I need/ Won't you take me to your heaven?/ Gonna makе me sweat, gonna make mе bleed"
4. Wild Woman
This track comes with a country twang and pop hooks. The chorus of Wild Woman has a sing-along vibe. Moreover, there are moments where the cheeky lyric work pays off. However, the song features some clichés. It mainly leans toward the 1980s pop-rock genre. Yungblud's vocals sound slightly forced. He sings:
"Another day, another plane/ I guess I'm just a sucker for the fame/ Ain't got a white horse, I'm a cowboy, baby/ Need another chance to live again"
5. Back In the Saddle (2025 Mix)
This one is a reimagining of a classic. The song takes the original's core and overlays new production with new drum tracks and additional vocal call-and-response. Matt Sorum cut a fresh drum track. Bass and rhythm were also reworked in places.
The original "Back in the Saddle" has a swagger that comes from its rough edges. This new version tightens those edges and replaces them with extra vocal layers. Nevertheless, this 2025 version is a good attempt to pass a classic song to a relatively younger audience. Notable lyrics include:
"Riding into town alone by the light of the moon/ I'm looking for old Sukie Jones, she crazy horse saloon/ "Barkeep, give me a drink," that's when she caught my eye/ She turned to give me a wink that'd make a grown man cry"
Aerosmith's Steven Tyler opened up about the latest project with Yungblud, stating:
"The decision to meet Yungblud and make this music with him was like plugging into pure electricity. For Joe [Perry] and me it was another cosmic collision… to find ourselves in the studio with this outrageously talented and positively wild animal named Dom. Here is this kid that lives his life out loud…grew up on our records and the British invasion…and now we are in the studio together creating something that bridges generations."
Steven Tyler continued:
"He devoured all the same greats looked up to…and then he started to dream on. It’s as simple as that. When we sang and played together for the first time there was an immediate unspoken vibration throughout the studio… it reminded me of the wheels of the car vibrating my seat as the boys and I drove into Boston 50 years ago for the very first time. It had that same deep intimate pressure of necessity. To make it…make it great…something fresh and new…and make it last forever. That’s the rock n roll way baby! Yungblud wants this next chapter in rock history and asked us to be a part of it. We got on so well… the vibe in the room was epic from the start…we had a blast…and were truly honored to write with him! Rock and roll becomes timeless when you pour your heart and soul into it…that’s when the magic happens."
