Final Destination: Bloodlines marks a chilling return to the franchise that redefined horror with its mercilessly creative take on fate. Two decades since the last installment, Bloodlines delivers exactly what longtime fans have been waiting for: gruesome, inventive deaths that strike without warning and leave you nervously eyeing every innocuous household item.
Set in the present day but tethered to a deadly 1960s observation tower collapse, the film follows a new group of victims, all unknowingly connected to the original tragedy, as they fall one by one to Death’s unstoppable design.
True to tradition, the movie is a blood-soaked symphony of tension, jump scares, and grotesque accidents that spiral from minor mishaps into full-blown catastrophes. Whether it's a freak MRI incident, a vicious weather vane impalement, or an old-school lawn mower going full slasher, Bloodlines cranks the horror up to eleven while honoring the blueprint of the originals. And while some deaths are blink-and-you'll-miss-it quick, others linger long enough to haunt your dreams.
From jaw-dropping spectacles to subtle nods to previous films, we’re ranking every death in Final Destination: Bloodlines, from the forgettable to the fabulously horrific. Buckle up, because nobody escapes... and the order matters.

What is Final Destination: Bloodlines about?

Final Destination: Bloodlines is the sixth film in the horror franchise, following Stefani Reyes, a college student haunted by nightmares of a 1968 observation tower disaster that involved a building called the Sky View. When she discovers her grandmother, Iris Campbell, survived the tragedy by altering her fate, Death begins targeting Iris’ descendants, including Stefani’s brother Charlie, their mother Darlene, uncle Howard, and cousins Erik, Bobby, and Julia Campbell. As they face Death’s deadly design, the group must find a way to survive the inevitable. The film blends suspense, creative deaths, and family drama, preserving the franchise’s signature theme that no one can cheat Death forever.
Erik Campbell

Erik faces multiple fatal accidents, but remains unharmed throughout the film, which confuses Stefani. However, it is later revealed that he isn't biologically related to the family, having been born after his mother's affair, which leaves him out of the order and safe. But only temporarily.
The only thing Death hates than His victims escaping is when someone messes with fatality and tries to alter fate, and Erik does exactly that. He tries to save his stepbrother by cheating Death and ends up in His claws himself. In an MRI room that has a strong magnetic field that attracts anything steel or metal towards it, Erik gets pulled into the machine because of his body piercing along with a steel wheelchair, resulting in him getting crushed by it and being cut in half.
Darlene Reyes

Darlene tries to contain the curse within herself as she decides to lock herself in a fortified cabin that belonged to Iris. However, as they reach the location, disaster awaits them and their vehicle falls into a water body, and Stefani and Charlie get stuck.
Darlene tries to save them both and succeeds in the case of Charlie. But, as she asks him to rescue Stefani, before anything else happens, a large lamp post falls on top of her, cutting her body in two, vertically.
Howard Campbell

The chain of death starts off with Howard, Iris' firstborn. At a barbecue party in the garden, the family enjoys a moment of bright sun before a chain reaction turns things messy. A glass breaks, and a large shard of it gets misplaced inside an ice bucket. On the other hand, a lawn mower goes off near where Howard is standing. As he steps on the shard of glass, he loses his balance and falls into the path of the lawn mower, which shreds his head into pieces.
Julia Campbell

Julia's death takes place amid Stefani trying to convince the family of Death's curse, as they react skeptically to her theories. She goes out on a walk and gets picked up by the garbage truck's grapple operating nearby, and the others try to stop the vehicle. Stefani holds out her hand to pull Julia out but soon enough, the truck's compactor sucks her in and crushes her entirely as Stefani is left holding her severed hand.
Bobby Campbell

Bobby's death comes moments after Erik's as the duo tries to take one more chance to turn the cycle around. After they get to know from one of Iris' acquaintances the possibility of cheating Death by dying and coming back to life, Erick suggests they do the same to Bobby, unbeknownst to the rest of the group.
Bobby, who is fatally allergic to nuts, is offered a chocolate (containing nuts!) by Erik. The plan is to resuscitate Bobby as soon as he starts suffocating and dying. But as the MRI machine starts operating and sucking in all the metal around the room, Erik gets crushed by a wheelchair and moments after, a spring from the MRI machine impales Bobby's head, killing him.
Iris Campbell

Iris Campbell, after confining herself to a fortified cabin, has successfully defeated death for decades. She has intentionally been away from humans and anything that could kill her. But when her granddaughter Stefani visits, she steps out of her cabin to hand her the journal she has maintained her entire life. In the journal, she has documented each death that has taken place after the Sky View incident.
The moment she steps out, Death scores, as a weather vane falls on her and impales her mouth, fatally.
Stefani and Charlie Reyes

The last two people to die almost narrowly escape the clutches of Death. Or so they thought. The night after Darlene dies, Stefani almost drowns to death, but Charlie rescues and resuscitates her as they both triumph over Death's defeat.
Soon after, as Charlie is getting ready for his senior prom, the siblings realize that Stefani didn't actually die. As she was just unconscious, Death's danger is still at large, and they are its next victims.
Meanwhile, a train derails nearby and crashes into the neighborhood, carrying large logs of wood. As Stefani and Charlie run, two of the logs fall on them, crushing them to death.
