Marc Foster's 2016 film starring Blake Lively and Jason Clarke, All I See Is You, is about two couples who, in the beginning, are living a happy and loving life.

It will be even more adorable when you realize that Gina, the wife (Lively), is blind and the husband (Clarke) is taking care of her. Awww...

But wait until the husband shows his true colors, and you'll see that some men just like being in control. It is only when Gina gets her eyesight back and becomes more and more independent that James (the husband) starts to suffer.

He even tries to get her blind again, but Gina has turned the tables and he only assumes that his plan is working. Nevertheless, at the end of All I See Is You, the husband realizes that she was just faking her blindness. The last scene has ambiguity in it; either James dies, or it is a flashback to an accident when Gina lost her eyes as a child.

The film failed to impress critics and the audiences, as it sits with just a 30% Tomatometer score and a 29% Popcornmeter score at the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. But that is not it. It was also a big box office disaster, as it only garnered $678k against a $30 million budget.

How does James find out about Gina faking her blindness in All I See Is You?

James is happy at first when his wife gets her eyesight back after her operation. Though it is only in one eye. From there on, it seems like things will only get better. However, the more independent Gina becomes, the more distant she gets from James, which he clearly doesn't like.

As All I See Is You advances, James tries to rekindle the spark between them. First, he books a hotel, claiming that it is the same one that they spent their honeymoon in. However, Gina finds it fishy, and it is revealed that it is not the same hotel.

After that, they both visit Barcelona, where his sister lives with her husband. There, James' brother-in-law makes a joke about how Gina can see and find other good-looking men, which worsens the situation between James and Gina. Things get worse when a fight ensues, where a stranger tries to grope Gina and James' brother-in-law is the one who saves her and not James.

After this, in All I See Is You, the situation only worsens. Gina has an affair and cheats on James. She gets pregnant and gives birth to a child, making James realise that she had not been faithful. Meanwhile, Gina insists that her vision is getting bad again, which then prompts her to use the eye drops the doctor recommended.

At the end of the film, when James is visiting their old home to bring back some belongings, he finds empty eye drop bottles, realizing that Gina has been faking her blindness. That becomes clearer in All I See Is You when she looks directly into James' eyes during a performance of hers.

He leaves and drives back home, but meets with an accident. This is one ambiguous moment in the movie where it isn't clear if it was him who met with an accident or a flashback from Gina's childhood, where an accident took her eyesight and her parents' lives. Ultimately, Gina decides to raise her child alone, signalling new beginnings.
