Charles "MoistCr1TiKaL" White Jr. has officially won the Content Creator of the Year award at The Game Awards 2025. It has sparked a wave of notable reactions across social media platforms.

Notably, viewers watched MoistCr1TiKaL learn about his win from his bedroom while he was streaming live on Twitch. MoistCr1TiKaL was playing Old School RuneScape. For netizens, the notable contrast between the show's arena and his room was enough to react. One such user commented:

"Damn all that without ever leaving that room. Agoraphobic legend"

The Game Awards 2025 was hosted by Geoff Keighley. Its Content Creator of the Year category is one of the most significant categories among livestreamers and online commentators of the gaming scene. This year's nominees were Marc "Caedrel," Kai Cenat, MoistCr1TiKaL, Sakura Miko, and TheBurntPeanut.

MoistCr1TiKaL took home the award, even though he was not physically present at the Los Angeles ceremony. It is worth noting that MoistCr1TiKaL has mentioned many times that he does not fly. The category was announced during a quick awards segment with no onstage speeches. MoistCr1TiKaL's reaction was also relatively brief:

"Please, god, anybody but me. Well... that's cool. Thanks."

Internet reactions to MoistCr1TiKaL beating Kai Cenat to win Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards 2025

FearBuck took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to post that,

"MoistCr1TiKaL just won Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards 2025. Other nominees: Caedrel. Kai Cenat. Sakura Miro. The Burnt Peanut"

Netizens soon jumped into the comment section of the X post to pen their opinions on MoistCr1TiKaL's The Game Awards win. Below are some of their reactions:

"what exactly has bro done to deserve this award? all MoistCr1TiKaL does is sit down and talk about shi. it’s nothing groundbreaking.", declared an X user.
"His daily uploads feed the streets every single day...", commented another.
"Absolute unit of consistency. Well earned.", penned a third.

Others also chimed in:

"Hasan crash-out incoming, even tho he was not nominated.", predicted a netizen.
"MoistCr1TiKaL is a gamer, you'd know that if you checked his streams. He actually started his YT channel making gears of war montages all the way back in 2007. Don't be a bunch of salt merchants. Charlie is a cool dude.", commented another.
"Wouldn't say MoistCr1TiKaL is objectively the best streamer, but MoistCr1TiKaL does play The Finals which makes me instantly respect him over most game-focused streamers.", added a third.
