Let us get into how Almost Cops ends and how the cops manage to bust the drug gang.

How does Almost Cops end?

Towards the end of Almost Cops, we see Guido and Ramon confronting each other in a showdown. Guido is enraged by the death of Kevin, and that reflects in the shootout. After much back and forth, Guido is cornered at the building's edge, where he falls to his death. Even though Ramon was with him, he did try to prevent him from falling. Guido tried to latch on to Ramon's necklace in his final moments. It was given to Ramon by his dad before he passed away.

While we see Ramon's shocking reaction, it's not explicitly mentioned that Guido has died. There is a chance of his survival. But even if he does, he will be caught and tried for his crimes. Guido eventually pays for his sin, and his plans to start afresh are thwarted by the cops.

How was the drug gang busted?

It becomes clear early on in Almost Cops that Guido and his henchmen are not the only people involved in the drug gang. In one of the earlier scenes, he mocks the authorities by saying that he has the protection of people way stronger than anyone could imagine. That person is revealed to be Richard van der Vloed, who is one of the wealthiest men in the Netherlands.

The world knows him as the head honcho of the van der Vloed Corporation, but he also runs a drug business. He leads two of the biggest drug gangs in Rotterdam, namely Bhukaris and Rits. Richard runs his illegal operations on the top floor of his building, the Van der Vloed Tower. He also manages to maintain a positive image of himself in the city and is known for being approachable and down-to-earth.

But soon cracks start to appear in his facade as Ramon starts noticing him in all the crime scenes. Richard is eventually confronted by the cops in his building, and he confesses his crimes. But soon, the tables turn, and he points a gun at them. Ramon then opts for empathy over brute force and starts talking to Richard. He tells him that it's never too late to do good, and the drug lord agrees to surrender.

After his arrest in Almost Cops, Jack and Ramon become heroic figures. The duo politely rejects an offer to join CID and decides to remain as CSOs (Community Service Officers). On a personal level, we find out in the end that Ramon and Dilan are still in a relationship. So everything works out for them.
