Almost Cops: Release date news, cast details, streaming details, and more about the upcoming Netflix comedy

Netflix's upcoming comedy movie, Almost Cops, will feature a couple of cops who are polar opposites working together. The film's first look was revealed on May 20, 2025, followed by a trailer on June 12, 2025. Currently, that trailer has garnered over 323k views on YouTube. The film will release in July.

Almost Cops will star Jandino Asporaat and Werner Kolf in the lead roles as Ramon and Jack, respectively. Other than them, Florence Vos Weeda, Ferdi Stofmeel, and Ergun Simsek, among others, will be gracing the film.

Gonzalo Fernández Carmona is directing the film from a screenplay co-written by Thomas van der Ree, Joost Reijmers, and Kenneth Asporaat. The Amsterdam-based director is known for projects like Lazarus (2015), Colosseum (2019), Koolhoven Presenteert (2024), and more. Kaap Holland Film and Het Huis van Asporaat are producing it.

When is Almost Cops releasing?

The film is releasing on July 11, 2025, the same day as Superman, Madea's Destination Wedding, Skillhouse, and Sovereign.
