Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes Weigh In on Taylor Swift’s Big Kelce Podcast Moment

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will take to the New Heights podcast later today, which is the pop star's first-ever podcast appearance. The podcast has brought responses from throughout the sports world, including Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Podcast snippets have already begun to appear online, and Kelce's Chiefs colleagues have rushed to show their enthusiasm about the upcoming event. Patrick Mahomes and Coach Andy Reid have publicly encouraged the relationship between the two, and the wife of Mahomes (Brittany) is friends with Taylor Swift as well.

Andy Reid also expressed his supportive attitude towards Travis Kelce and Swift by giving his positive comments about the couple. Speaking ahead of the Chiefs' penultimate preseason game, the coach was quoted as saying:

"I’m like really old. My grandkids will be all over it. It’s a neat deal. I’m happy for them. Both of them like each other, and what a plus that is. They care about each other, and I think that’s the most important thing. The older you get, you want these guys to have somebody they can settle down with and that whole deal."

Patrick Mahomes also shared his elation on the subject, as he revealed that his wife, Brittany Mahomes, had received a call from Taylor Swift after she had finished recording for the New Heights podcast. While speaking on the matter, he said:

"I’m obviously super excited, just knowing Taylor and seeing the process from just a little bit closer of how she makes the albums. It’s going to be amazing because of how much work she puts into it. What better place to announce it than the New Heights podcast."

Mahomes then went on to add:

"I think people are going to be really excited to watch it tonight. I haven’t seen it yet. I’ve seen a little bit of the clips just like everybody else, but I’ll be tuned in tonight, I think it’s 7 Eastern. I’ll be able to have something to watch here on this night off that I have.”

Taylor Swift's New Heights Podcast appearance

Taylor Swift has announced that her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” is under production, and her upcoming appearance on New Heights has added to the buzz regarding the album's release. Ahead of the podcast's release later this evening, the podcast is already trending at No. 1 on Apple Podcasts.

Clips from the coming episode have gone viral on the internet, with Jason's absurdly long introduction for the pop star grabbing a lot of eyeballs. After the host was done listing her accomplishments, Taylor Swift chimed in by saying:

As we all know, you guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast. New Heights is scheduled to release later today at 7 PM E.T., and fans will be hoping to get more answers about Swift's upcoming album as well.
