Anthrax are officially set to head back to Australia in March 2026 for their first headline run in the country since 2019. The band has been a part of the global metal scene for more than forty years. Their latest tour announcement has stirred excitement among fans of thrash metal.Anthrax will play in four Australian cities: Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney in March 2026. This newly scheduled run is part of the band's international touring. Australian fans last saw the group in 2019 at Download Festival and at select sideshows.Anthrax's current lineup features Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, and Frank Bello, alongside vocalist Joey Belladonna and guitarist Jon Donais. In 2025, the band completed mixing their first full-length album since 2016's For All Kings. Although the release date of their new record has not been revealed yet, the band has stated that they plan to share a song before the end of 2025.
