Avatar: Fire and Ash cast and character guide

Avatar: Fire and Ash will change the way you saw the beautiful world of Pandora when the fiery Ash people enter this equation. Just yesterday, we got a second trailer of the third film in James Cameron's epic science fiction franchise. It was really tense there as an all-out war awaits.

While many familiar faces will return from the previous films, some new characters are being added to the franchise. James Cameron has put a larger emphasis on the characters this time. He even discussed this in an interview with People Magazine. He told the publication:

"It’s not about, ‘We’re going to show you the best water [VFX] ever done’ — but you get more into the heart and soul of the characters. And there’s some very interesting new characters that come in as well."

We will now see who is playing whom in the movie in this cast and character guide below.

The film's characters are technically divided into three different categories, namely Na'vi, Recoms, and Humans. We will see which character belongs to which section here.

Na'vi

Sam Worthington will return as Jake Sully, the main protagonist of the film, who was an avatar driver but joined the Na'vi tribe for good.

Zoe Saldana will return as another major protagonist in Avatar: Fire and Ash, Neytiri, the wife of Jake Sully.

Jamie Flatters will play one of Jake and Neytiri's children, Neteyam, who actually died in the second Pandoran war, but his consciousness was brought to life.

Sigourney Weaver will play Jake's adopted daughter, Kiri.

Britain Dalton is Lo'ak, the second son of Jake and Neyitri.

Trinity Bliss is the younger daughter of Jake and Neytiri, Tuktirey.

CCH Pounder will return as Neytiri's mother, Mo'at, in Avatar: Fire and Ash.

Kate Winslet is the spiritual leader (Tsahìk) of the Metkayina clan named Ronal.

Cliff Curtis plays Ronal's mate, Tonowari, in the film.

Filip Geljo is a member of the Metkayina clan and the son of Ronal and Tonowari, namely Aonung.

Bailey Bass will play the daughter of Ronal and Tonowari, Tsireya.

Duane Evans Jr. is an accomplice of Tsireya and Aonung, Rotxo.

David Thewlis is a new addition coming in Avatar: Fire and Ash. He will play the chief of the Tlalim clan, Peylak.

Oona Chaplin is a major addition to the franchise and is the main antagonist, called Varang, the leader of the Ash people.

Recoms

For Recombinants, also known as Recoms, we have a couple of names. Stephen Lang as Colonel Recom Miles Quaritch and Matt Gerald as Corporal Recom Lyle Wainfleet.
