Avatar: Fire and Ash ending explained: The eventual fate of Varang and Quaritch revealed

Avatar: Fire and Ash was released on December 19, 2025, after its premiere at the Dolby Theatre. The epic sci-fi film is a sequel to 2022's Avatar: The Way of Water. Avatar: Fire and Ash focuses on Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) as they are trying to cope with Neteyam's demise. Soon, they are confronted by an aggressive tribe of the Na'vi called the Ash. It's headed by Varang (Oona Chaplin), who has his plans for Pandora.

Towards the end of Avatar: Fire and Ash, the Sully family members plead to Tulkun to end their pacifist stance and fight against the humans. Jake meets Toruk to get him the title of Toruk Makto.
