Kpop Demon Hunters became this year's most talked-about and loved animated film, introducing fans to a fictional girl group known as Huntr/x, who save the world from demons using their powerful voices and meaningful lyrics of their songs.

From incredible voice actors to singers, KPop Demon Hunters remains a top movie on Netflix. Each song has been well-received by fans, and they still can't get over them, especially Golden, sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami.

Notably, Golden has also received multiple nomination nods for the upcoming ceremony (68th Grammy Awards, scheduled Feb 1, 2026). Following the massive achievement of the soundtrack, EJAE expressed gratitude saying:

"I don’t even have the adjectives to describe how I’m feeling. This is beyond anything I ever imagined, being nominated for a Grammy."

The singer who also co-wrote and composed Golden never imagined that the song would reach this point. The film not only became a massive success in the U.S. and Korea, but the entire globe.

Apart from standout characters like Rumi, Mira, Zoey from Huntr/x and the demon boys band with Jinu, KPop Demon Hunters gathered attention for each song. From How It's Done to Golden, these songs reached global music listeners and touched their hearts.

As mentioned above, EJAE shed light on what it feels like to get almost five Grammy nominations and added:

"To say this was my dream is an understatement. This wouldn’t be possible without the fans of the movie who have shown us so much support."

The singer thanked everyone, including Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna, who lent their voices for Mira and Zoey's parts. Additionally, Ami also expressed gratitude for the film and songs' success and said:

"This is a cultural phenomenon. I’m so honored, in awe and just truly humbled by the power of music and good art and how it can really, truly—it sounds so cliché—change the world."

Not only this, but the singers have also expressed hope for a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters, though it hasn't been renewed so far. However, if the makers move forward with a second movie, the singers would feel honored to come back.

KPop Demon Hunters follows a thrilling story about a group of famous K-pop idols who secretly live double lives as demon fighters. Known as Huntr/x, the group includes Rumi, Mira and Zoey.

For the world, these girls are superstars, but little did they know that they are demon slayers who kill these evil beings with their voices and protect the Honmoon (a shield) that keeps demons away from feeding on humans.

However, the Honmoon starts getting weaker and this allows a demon boy band, led by the most handsome demon, Jinu to step in. They battle against Huntr/x and take no time in becoming another popular Kpop group.

At the same time, Rumi is half-demon and half-human. Thanks to her father, who happened to be a demon and her mother, a singer. As the story continues, Rumi learns about Jinu's tragic story and tries to help him.

However, Jinu is filled with guilt and once again falls into Gwi-ma's (Demon King) trap. The final moments of the film feature a thrilling fight between Huntr/x and Saja Boys, with Jinu scarificing himself and the girls finally able to seal the Honmoon back.
