Their post read:"This album feels like it’s been 12 years in the making. All the gigs we have played all around the world, all the songs we have written, all the adventures we’ve shared, are all building blocks of this latest record. It’s the first proper full-length album of new songs we’ve released since ‘Anonimo’ back in 2018."The post continued:"I think this record is a great representation of the band as a whole. I think if you have ever had fun at a live show or enjoyed listening to our music over the years, you will love this record. That's also why we felt it was fitting to make this one self-titled. You never know when your last record will happen, but if this is it, I can die a happy man. Hopefully see you at a show soon - plenty more to be announced in the coming weeks. Love - Jimmy and Carlos x"Street Shark is one of Bootleg Rascal's latest singles. Jimmy Young recently opened up about the track, stating:"'Street Shark' feels like one of our more sombre tracks. It touches on self-reflection and those moments where you might feel like a bit of a loner or even a bit of a piece of sh*t. But it’s not all negative, it is also about taking the good with the bad and making the best out of hard situations. It is about accepting yourself for who you are, while feeling nostalgic about the good times that have passed. All those themes are tied up in the song."Complete list of dates and stops for Bootleg Rascal's 2025-26 runSaturday, January 10, 2026, Newstead, Brisbane, QLD, at The TriffidThursday, January 22, 2026, Wollongong, NSW, at La La La'sFriday, January 23, 2026, Sydney, NSW, at The Lansdowne HotelSaturday, January 24, 2026, Miami, Gold Coast, QLD, at Miami MarkettaFriday, January 30, 2026, Scarborough, Perth, WA, at Indi BarSaturday, January 31, 2026, Margaret River, WA, at The RiverSaturday, February 7, 2026, Parap Darwin, NT, at Railway ClubThursday, February 12, 2026, Adelaide, SA, at Grace Emily HotelFriday, February 13, 2026, Brunswick, Melbourne VIC, at Bergy BandroomSaturday, February 14, 2026, North Hobart, TAS, at Republic BarSunday, February 15, 2026, Launceston, TAS, at Royal Oak HotelSaturday, February 21, 2026, Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast, QLD, at SolbarTickets for Bootleg Rascal's newly announced 2026 AU shows are currently available via their official website. Also Read: Robert Finley 2026 Australian tour: Dates, venues, and more exploredThe Rasmus 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more exploredLamb of God 2026 North American tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored
