American cinema has gone through different eras in its history.

The 70s were the time when chaos turned into art. Breakdown: 1975, a new documentary by Academy Award-winning Morgan Neville, will explore this era, specifically the year 1975, as evident in the title.

There will be several interviews in the upcoming documentary and it is being narrated by none other than Jodie Foster, a two-time Academy Award winner.

Its official logline reads,

"In 1975, as America faced social and political upheaval, filmmakers turned chaos into art. This documentary explores how a turbulent era gave rise to iconic movies like ‘Taxi Driver,’ ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,’ and ‘Network.'"

While Morgan Neville is directing, he is also co-producing with Lauren Belfer, and Caitrin Rogers will executively produce it.

Let us now see more details about the upcoming documentary.
