Leading the film is Austin Butler as Henry Hank Thompson, a bartender who gets caught up in something messy after he agrees to take care of his neighbor's cat. In the film, Thompson is an aspiring baseball player whose career took a pause after a knee injury. He's close to his mother and bonds with her over their love for baseball.

Starting off as a Disney kid over the past few years, Butler has become a household name in the industry. His work includes the Elvis Presley biopic Elvis, Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, Dune: Part Two and this year's Eddington. He will next be seen in Henry Dunham's Enemies alongside Jeremy Allen White.

Regina King as Det. Elise Roman

King plays the role of Detective Elise Roman, who gets involved with Hank in his dangerous mess. She is later revealed to be in league with the very people Hank is fighting against.

The actress is known for her roles in the film Friday, the animated series The Boondocks and the show Southland. She has also received an Emmy for her role in American Crime and has also worked on the Netflix miniseries Seven Seconds and the HBO limited series Watchmen.

Zoë Kravitz as Yvonne

In Caught Stealing, Kravitz plays Yvonne, Hank's girlfriend, who becomes a central point of the plot in the film as she gets targeted by the mobsters. Although it's a relatively smaller role, her character is the driving force behind Hank and his desire to exact revenge over her fate.

Zoë Kravitz is known for her role as Angel Salvadore in X-Men: First Class. She later went on to star in films like The Divergent Series, Mad Max: Fury Road, the Fantastic Beasts film series, and The Batman.

Matt Smith as Russ

Matt Smith's character is at the center of all the mess, as he's the neighbor whose cat Hank was taking care of, and the reason why he got into this mess. Hank is a drug dealer, who is connected to two dangerous brothers in the film, and plays a crucial role in the story as he is chased by the Russian mob.

Smith is known for his role as Prince Philip in The Crown and Daemon Targaryen in HBO's House of the Dragon.
