Creep 2 is a sequel to the 2014 film Creep and was released in October 2017. The found footage horror film is helmed by Patrick Brice, who also directed the first installment. Brice wrote the film with Mark Duplass, Jason Blum, and Carolyn Craddock are the producers.
Here's the official synopsis as per IMDb:
"A video artist looking for work drives to a remote house in the forest to meet a man claiming to be a serial killer. But after agreeing to spend the day with him, she soon realizes that she made a deadly mistake."
Let us take a look at its ending.
What is the plot of Creep 2?

Creep 2 picks up right after the events of the first film. It follows Aaron, a serial killer, who murdered a man in the earlier installment. He puts out an advertisement on the internet for a videographer. A YouTuber named Sara shows up at his cabin, which is situated at a remote location.
Changing his modus operandi, Aaron confesses that he is a serial killer and he will let her live if she makes a documentary about his life. Sara, doubting his claims, plays along, hoping that it will bring fame to her YouTube channel.
A major change, that is easy to miss, is that Duplass' character is called Aaron. In the previous film, he was called Josef, and his victim's name was Aaron, which he took over.
What happened to Sara in the Creep 2 ending?
Towards the end of Creep 2, Aaron tells Sara that the documentary on his life will end with the two taking their lives. He puts a knife and stabs himself in a less-fatal manner. As Sara tries to escape, Aaron catches her, stabs her, and drags her into the open. He puts her next to a grave dug by him. Before burying her, he gives a long monologue. Meanwhile, Sara emerges from behind, hits him with a shovel, and escapes.
The last scene of the film features Sara seeming to walk in public as someone is filming her secretly. The whistle in the video was also there in Aaron's videos. Right when she realizes someone is filming her, the video ends abruptly. It is possible that Aaron survived and is now stalking Sara.
There have been multiple fan theories about the ending on Reddit. One of them suggests that Aaron is recording everything for his baby. It reads:

"In Creep 2, while they're both walking through the trails, he's yapping on about this or that. Very quickly, though, he says something about a friend of his followed by, "I called him Buddy." Now, I read a bunch of threads on here after I watched it and I weirdly didn't see anyone mention this, so I wanted to."
"It really flips the creepy switch even higher when you think about the first movie. He's supposedly filming this whole thing for his baby, Buddy, for when he's dead. But with that small line from the second one now when you watch the first, every single time he says Buddy you get to view it as him talking to Aaron (camera guy) and it just really seeps the creeps in, ya know?"
Another user suggests that towards the end, Sara recognizes Aaron in public:
"I took it as Aaron’s old clips of him filming her like he did all his previous victims. My wife thought it was filmed after the events of the movie and the last frames are her recognizing him."
