Crime 101: Release date news, cast details, streaming details and more about the Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo starer film

Thor and Hulk actors have found a new place to come up against each other on Earth in the upcoming heist film, Crime 101. It will be directed by Bart Layton and written by Shane Salemo and Peter Straughan. Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth were the stars of the trailer, but there is more star power in it. Both actors were last seen together in 2019, concluding the MCU's Infinity Saga with Avengers: Endgame.

Halle Berry is also associated with Marvel, but not with the MCU. She played Storm in the X-Men films, which recently became a part of the grander Marvel Cinematic Universe. The same was the case with Evan Peters until he popped up as Pietro Maximoff in WandaVision.

Mark Ruffalo has been a part of a similar trope before, in the Now You See Me films, which are getting their third film this November. However, there are no magicians involved in Crime 101.

When will Crime 101 be released?

The Bart Layton film is currently scheduled for release on February 13, 2026. It will be released alongside a couple of films, including Wuthering Heights and Goat. The former is an erotic psychological drama film, starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie, and the latter is an animated film with a voice cast of David Harbour, Stephen Curry, Nick Kroll, and more. Other than these films, Cold Storage, Scream 7, and more will be released in the month.

Chris Hemsworth is playing the protagonist, Mike Davis, a jewel thief. Although he is famous for his portrayal of Thor in the MCU films. The other movies include Rush (2013), In the Heart of the Sea (2015), 12 Strong (2018), and more.

Mark Ruffalo will be playing Detective Lou Lubesnick in the film. Like Hemsworth, he is a major part of the MCU films, portraying Hulk. However, the actor has a range, and you can see that in films like Shutter Island (2010), the Now You See Me films, Mickey 17 (2025), and more.

Barry Keoghan is also a part of the MCU and considered one of the greatest Irish actors of all time. He will be portraying Ormon in Crime 101.
