The freshly released Spanish film on Prime Video, Culpa Nuestra, which is Our Fault in English, has an incredible and dense set of soundtracks that captures the ethos of its storytelling. It also features a plethora of soundtracks performed by some celebrated artists, such as Sam Smith.

This film is derived from author Mercedes Ron's 'Culpables' series. The previous two movie adaptations of the book series are My Fault (2023) and Your Fault (2024). So, this film marks the third one to be based on Ron's book series.

The film follows the plot of two estranged lovers, Nick and Noah, who find themselves bumping into each other again. In the process, buried disgruntments also resurface. The film explores the fate of these ex-lovers after their past returns to their present.

Its synopsis, as per Rotten Tomatoes, goes as follows:

Jenna and Lion's wedding sets the stage for the long-awaited reunion between Noah and Nick, some time after their breakup. Nick's inability to forgive Noah creates an seemingly insurmountable barrier between them. He, now heir to his grandfather's business empire, and she, just starting her career, resist reigniting a flame that still smolders within them. But now that their paths have crossed again, will love prove stronger than resentment?

The renowned Argentine music composer, Federico Jusid, is the man behind the creation of the soundtrack of Culpa Nuestra.

The Spanish Goya Award-nominated composer is well known for his work in films, including The Secret in Their Eyes (2009), Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014, along with Alberto Iglesias), Kidnap (2017), A Twelve Year Night (2018), Close Your Eyes (2023), and many more.

In association with Lakeshore Records, Jusid has composed the original score of this film. Its soundtrack is poignant, resonant, and charged, and encapsulates the emotional landscape of the romantic drama. It blends in beautifully with the complexities and inner turmoils that play into the minds of the characters in its storyline.
