Dave Chappelle: The Unstoppable is yet another comedy special from Dave Chappelle. He has made a career out of cracking jokes while making the audience uncomfortable. Chappelle had a knack for confronting questions that jolt the viewers. But he did not do it at the cost of comedy. Over the years, his comedic style has evolved.

Chappelle's transphobic jokes were criticised by many people. Surprisingly, he continues that tradition in this special. Certain things bordered on hypocrisy. One example is Chappelle calling out the bromance between Elon Musk and Donald Trump and how they eventually parted ways. But he did not mention how he was once close to Musk.

Dave Chappelle lands some funny jokes throughout Dave Chappelle: The Unstoppable. But several reviews have pointed out that they lack the spark that he had earlier. The comedian was also trying to tell the audience that he is richer than everyone who is watching him. This defied his earlier stand on things in life. He clearly calls himself a capitalist while mentioning how he bought a house in Ohio. Chappelle spoke about Charlie Kirk but also took potshots at Cassie Ventura for her connections with Puffy.

However, there are moments in Dave Chappelle: The Unstoppable that are very funny. Chappelle gives a brief history lesson from 1910 to 2014, and it begins with him mentioning Jack Johnson. He was the first black heavyweight champion in boxing. The comedian speaks about his rise and the downfall, which was caused by society. Johnson's fight against James Jeffries was widely reported around that time.

Then, Chappelle also mentions certain criticisms he has faced in recent times, and also mentions performing in Saudi Arabia. Instead of apologizing or accepting his mistakes, Chappelle questions why some people are canceled more than others. He does not go into the details about why he was targeted online for this.

This special might disappoint if you have followed Chappelle's work. It appears as an exercise to tell the world that he is right. Skip it if you are looking for a laugh ride, but this one is short on that. If you want to see Chappelle talk about different things, you can give this latest comedy special a try during this holiday season.

The special is available on Netflix.
