Boromir wants Legolas to bring down criminals in the new Tom Kingsley film, Deep Cover, using their improvisation skills. Yes, Orlando Bloom is teaming up with his Lord of the Rings fellow star in the new movie, where he will be a part of an improv-actors' bunch of three, the other two being Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Mohammed.
Other than the mentioned actors, Ian McShane, Paddy Considine, Sonoya Mizuno, and more are in the film's cast too. Interestingly, both Bloom and McShane have appeared in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise but never crossed paths in any of the films in it.
The film's premise on IMDb is as follows,
"Three improv actors are asked to go undercover by the police in London's criminal underworld."
Bean plays a detective sergeant who has recruited them, as we can see in the trailer. Following a quick brief with Howard, the other two struggling actors join the program to make some bucks.
All the available details about the upcoming film

Tom Kingsley directed Deep Cover based on a screenplay co-written by Colin Trevorrow, Derek Connolly, Ben Ashenden, and Alexander Owen. Colin also co-produced it alongside Men in Black series producers Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald.
Trevorrow came to the limelight with the Jurassic World subseries of the Jurassic Park franchise, where Bryce Dallas Howard plays the lead actress opposite Chris Pratt. While the first movie in the subseries was met with a positive reception, the other two are currently sitting as the worst in the entire franchise.
Derek Connelly has collaborated with Trevorrow on the subseries as a writer. Other than that, they have also worked on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker's story. Connelly's other popular writing credits include Detective Pikachu and Kong: Skull Island.
The film's release date is set for June 12, 2025. It will be instantly available to stream on Amazon Prime.
Here is a quick breakdown of Deep Cover's comic trailer
So it begins with the three improv actors going about their struggles, though Howard's character appears to be in a better condition than the two, as we see her having a chat with another woman who asks about her career. It seems like Howard is giving some comedy classes.
The Deep Cover trailer then shifts to a closer look at the artists' lives, where Nick is likely a new joinee and Bloom is already an established, struggling actor in the film, working odd jobs like dressing as a clown with board signs advertising sales discounts. Maybe he isn't that good, as we eventually see both Nick and Bloom on stage. Or maybe they are there to teach, too.
As we have mentioned above, Sean Bean is a detective in Deep Cover, he enters the scene after the bunch's introduction, and we can easily tell that their lives are about to change, though not financially, it seems.
The rest of the Deep Cover trailer sees the bunch joining hands for this unlikely journey where all they have to do is, as Howard explains to them, is improv acting. Though it's more than that, you'll see.
