I was his Cinderella, and he was my prince charming. Even in his final days, he stayed strong for me. That’s who Bobby was — brave, gentle and full of light.”

David Soul reportedly married Patti Carnel, who was previously married to Bobby Sherman. Sherman, a teen idol and actor, was married to Carnel from 1971 until their divorce in 1979, according to AmoMama.

According to reports, the two teen heartthrobs, Bobby Sherman and David Soul, had a professional relationship. The actors reportedly played brothers Jeremy and Joshua Bolt on the popular TV series Here Come the Brides, which aired on ABC from 1968 to 1970, per Billboard. Sherman reportedly sang the show's theme song, Seattle.

He and David Soul gained fame through the series. The show was loosely based on the historic Mercer Girls project and inspired by the movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."

Besides Sherman’s professional relationship with Soul, he also had a personal connection because they were married to the same woman, Patti Carnel, at different times.
