Jeffree Star has denied his alleged relationship with Kanye West multiple times. When the rumors first circulated in 2021, he shared a YouTube video addressing the news, stating that he found them hilarious. In the video clip titled, Addressing The Kanye Situation the make-up guru said:

“This is so weird … this is so stupid. Let me just say this one time … I like very tall men. Me and Kanye have never hung out, and this whole thing is really funny. I can see why people really laugh about it. In an old song of mine from 2009 called 'B**** Please', I say a line about Kanye.”

He further clarified his relationship status to the viewers and added,

“Jeffree Star is single and I’ve never slept with Kanye.”

This was not the first time he spoke about it. In a June 2021 interview with US Weekly, he said:

According to a report in Forbes, the rumor originated when a TikTok user by the name, Ava Louise claimed in a post:

“Kanye’s been hooking up with a very famous beauty guru, male beauty guru, a lot of people in the scene have known for a while.”

She shared it along with a caption, which read:

“i can’t say WHO cuz he’ll sue me hint hint but it’s part of the reason Kanye’s so religious now it’s his self hatred …. my source is legit I promiss [sic]”

But, she later admitted that she “made this entire scandal up,” referencing the rumor of an alleged affair between Jeffree and West, as per a report in Insider.
