The legal fallout surrounding It Ends with Us continues to simmer, now pulling in one of the film’s younger stars, Isabela Ferrer. According to People magazine, the 24-year-old, who portrayed the younger version of Blake Lively’s character Lily, has filed a new motion against director Justin Baldoni, accusing him of trying to pressure her into his ongoing legal fight with Lively.
Ferrer's lawyers say Baldoni, 41, has:
“engaged in bad faith tactics” and filed his latest motion “for improper purposes and with the aim of harassing” the 24-year-old actress.
This comes after Justin Baldoni subpoenaed Isabela Ferrer for communications tied to his case. According to his legal team, she was unresponsive, but Ferrer’s attorneys are now asking the court to deny his request and even impose sanctions.
The actress says the dispute goes deeper. She invoked an indemnity clause in her acting contract with Wayfarer Studios, which would normally require the company to cover her legal fees. However, Isabela Ferrer’s team claims:
“It Ends, LLC has not honored its obligations.”
They allege that Wayfarer only agreed to cover her costs if she allowed them to take control of her response.
They added:
"From that point forward, Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer."
Isabela Ferrer already turned over her relevant communications to comply with a subpoena from Blake Lively earlier this year. Still, her lawyers argue Justin Baldoni’s latest subpoena overlaps with those same documents and is simply meant to burden her.
“Baldoni made no effort to tailor the subpoena towards the production of new or different materials, demonstrating that the real aim of the Baldoni Subpoena, as well as the pending Motion, is to harass Ms. Ferrer.”
Isabela Ferrer accuses Justin Baldoni of unsafe disclosures amid his legal drama with Blake Lively
Meanwhile, Isabela Ferrer's legal team also points to another issue: Justin Baldoni's court filings publicly shared addresses that “could have been Ms. Ferrer’s home,” which they called unsafe and unnecessary.
Adding to the tension, her attorneys accused Baldoni and his partners of dragging their feet on indemnity payments as a way to squeeze her financially. They wrote:
"Ferrer sought reasonable extensions of time from Lively to respond to the Lively Subpoena until the indemnity issue was resolved."

The feud has been ongoing since December, when Blake Lively, 37, accused Baldoni of se*ual harassment in a complaint he strongly denies.
Earlier this year, Justin Baldoni even filed (and later dropped) a $400 million countersuit against Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, claiming they tried to isolate him from the cast.
Isabela Ferrer herself seemed to distance herself from Baldoni around the movie’s release. She and other co-stars reportedly unfollowed him on social media and skipped promotional appearances with him.
Both Lively’s case and the disputes around Ferrer are scheduled to head to trial in March 2026.
