WWE star Damian Priest has praised Bad Bunny for his wrestling ability, showmanship, and performance.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Priest called the Dakiti singer essentially a WWE superstar and agreed with WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, who described him as one of the best celebrity wrestlers ever. Priest said:
“I agree with Mark [Henry]. What he's done speaks for itself — the performances, the showmanship. I mean, he basically is a WWE superstar.”
Bad Bunny does wrestle. He made his wrestling debut at WrestleMania 37, which took place on April 10-11, 2021. During that time, he teamed up with Priest to defeat The Miz & John Morrison, according to the official website of WWE. What did Damian Priest say about Bad Bunny’s wrestling abilities?
Rolling Stone reported that Bad Bunny won his first-ever WWE solo match at WWE Backlash 2023, where he defeated Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight. He appeared on WWE events both as a participant and a performer.
Recently, Priest spoke about his former tag team partner to TMZ Sports, stating his chances of making a comeback. He said:
“I’ve talked to him about it, and it’s just scheduling, because obviously he has a lot going on. But he still has that itch. He loves our business, you know, and he's had more than enough time to recover since our match. So, he's ready to come.”
He also spoke about his match with the reggaeton star and how he helped him gain the spotlight. He told the outlet:
“It was awesome because it was challenging for multiple reasons. One, you're putting me in a spot that you know is not normal — getting me to work with a celebrity, not a wrestler, and getting them through it.”

The WWE star added:
“But also, the other side of it, obviously, he's a mega star on this planet. What he did for me in elevating my name, I could never thank him enough. That was 100% one of my favorite things that I've ever done in this business.”
Bad Bunny has participated in a total of four matches at WWE. The first match he was a part of was his tag team debut at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021 in Tampa, Florida.
In February 2021, Bad Bunny was awarded WWE’s 24/7 Championship belt which he won by pinning R-Truth with help from Damian Priest. In 2022, he participated in a Royal Rumble match. Speaking to Rolling Stone in January 2022, the singer said:
“I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn't risk it enough in the ring, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother. When? I don't know.”
ESPN reported that he entered the match at number 27, lasted for seven minutes and was defeated by Brock Lesnar.
His fourth match was a solo bout against Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at WWE Backlash on May 6, 2023.
