The latest installment in the Predator franchise, Predator: Killer of Killers, is proving to be the best film in it if we look at its reception so far. The film is currently sitting fresh with a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

While it is set in different times, it brings one familiar face to the equation just as the credits start to roll. It cannot really be considered a post-credit scene but a during-credits scene, which is sort of an animated recap. During this, fans will see Naru, the protagonist of 2022's Prey, in suspended animation, connecting this installment with the previous entry.
This suggests that the future films might see her popping up somewhere. And it's not just her, but all the protagonists who have appeared before may appear again, as time isn't a concern here. However, we should note that there isn't anything even slightly associated with time-travel in the films. Still, we can expect something like 2010's Predators, but this time with warriors from different times.
Interestingly, before the latest film in the franchise came out, Prey was the highest-rated film in the franchise. It can again reach that crown as it sits with a 94% score on RT, while Killer of Killers has just 29 reviews at the moment.
What is the story of Predator: Killer of Killers?

Predator: Killer of Killers focuses on not one but three stories from three different eras: the Viking era, feudal-era Japan, and World War II.
The main protagonist in the Viking era is Ursa, with her son Anders in a supporting role. They are on a hunt for a tribe leader who has killed Ursa's father. Though her son, and not she, kills the leader, the revenge is taken. This is where they first encounter the Predator, who kills their clan.
Anders is injured in this clash, and now Ursa has to fight the creature, which she does, and defeats him. However, she loses her son, who succumbs to his injury, as soon as the fight ends.
The narrative then shifts to feudal Japan, where Kenji, the son of a warlord, is the protagonist. He is shown to show reluctance to fight his brother, Kiyoshi, and runs away from the family. However, he returns years later, but his father is no more.
Upon this return, they do fight, and Kenji outshines Kiyoshi. However, Kiyoshi accidentally falls from a height and this is followed by an ambush where he fights a Predator. Interestingly, Kiyoshi is still alive and they both fight and defeat the creature. But this ends on a similar note to the first story, as Kiyoshi also dies of his injuries.
The final narrative takes us to the air during World War II, where the protagonist changes to a car-mechanic-turned-fighter-pilot, Torres. The groundwork for his rival is laid quickly as he spots a spacecraft with some advanced weaponry. The spacecraft then enters a feud, which the protagonist of the story survives.
Later, all these stories are connected as all these fighters from different eras are brought together to fight each other.
