Dog the Bounty Hunter, born as Duane Chapman, has lost a family member. The onair personality lost his step grandson 13-year-old son, Anthony, to a gunshot wound, which was caused by an accidental shooting. The accident happened at their family apartment in Naples, Florida, on Saturday night.
Sources revealed to TMZ that his stepson, son of his current wife in a previous marriage, Gregory Zecca, shot his 13-year-old son, Anthony, in an accident. According to the news outlet, Dog’s family has asked for privacy as they try to get through this unfortunate incident.
“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible, tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,” a representative told TMZ.
The police haven't made any arrests yet, but confirmed that investigations are still ongoing. They revealed that they responded to a shooting call around 8:00 PM ET.

Dog was born on February 2, 1953, in Denver, Colorado. He has three siblings, including Jolene, Michael, and Paula. Chapman has been married six times and is currently married to Francie Frane.
His first marriage was to LaFonda Sue Honeycutt and their marriage resulted in two children namely Duane Lee Chapman II and Leland Blane Chapman. Following his divorce from Sue, Chapman married Ann Tegnell by whom he has three children including Zebadiah Chapman who died a month after his premature birth, Wesley Chapman, and James Robert "J. R." Chapman.
Dog’s third marriage was to Lyssa Rae “Big Lyssa.” They were married for nine years and had three children together: Barbara Katie Chapman, Tucker Dee Chapman, and Lyssa Rae Chapman. Chapman married Tawny Marie Chapman after his divorce from Lyssa. The two didn't have any children together before their divorce was finalized in 2002.
The Bounty Hunter’s fifth marriage was to Alice Elizabeth "Beth" Barmore, with whom he has two children: Bonnie Joanne Chapman and Garry Chapman. After Beth died from throat cancer, a disease she was diagnosed with in 2017, Dog the Bounty Hunter met Francine Frane, who had also lost her spouse, Robert, at the time.
According to reports, the two found an instant connection and got engaged in 2020. In 2021, Chapman and Francine tied the knot. In addition to his children from his marriages, Chapman has one son out of wedlock, Christopher Michael Hecht.
