DWTS star Gleb Savchenko reveals he planned to 'get married' with ex Brooks Nader

Gleb Savchenko, the star from Dancing With the Stars, spoke about the severity of his previous relationship with 28-year-old model and reality star Brooks Nader. The first episodes of Nader's new family reality show, Live Thy Nader, which premiered on Freeform on August 26, 2025, focused heavily on their wild romance.

Savchenko's announcement that he intended to marry the Sports Illustrated model startled many, including his own family as well as Nader's family.

He told her father, Breaux Nader:

“We’re getting married.”

Brooks' father was not totally open to the idea and told him that he might have to travel to Baton Rouge to see the family in person and ask for their permission. He even joked that the procedures might be tougher. Gleb Savchenko joked by replying that the marriage approval procedure seemed “harder than getting a U.S. visa” and linking it to immigration papers.

Gleb said:

“I love you so much. I want to live together. I don't want to do this anymore.”

He even claimed that Brooks' father's reaction was “a little cold.”

He added:

“I kind of felt attacked for one second.”

The couple met on the dancing reality show Dancing with the Stars Season 33 in late 2024, when they were partnered together, and from there their love story started.

Brooks admitted, during the show, that the dancer had completely captured her attention. She compared Gleb Savchenko to her ex-husband, Billy Haire, whom she divorced in 2024 after years of marriage, as she reflected on the relationship. She said:

“I met my ex-husband when I was 19 years old. I was with him until I was 27. Going from that to the hottest guy I’ve ever seen in my entire life…we have the craziest, wildest s*x ever.”

As excited as Brooks was, her sisters were not. They questioned whether the relationship was sincere. The 26-year-old Mary Holland Nader expressed worries that Brooks may be the target of "love bombing," implying that her judgments might be clouded by her emotions. Brooks fired back with:

“He dotes on me, he worships me, and it's a bad thing? It sounds amazing.”

Mary Holland said:

“It sounds like all of those things that he's doing is just so that he can get in your circle.”

To which Brooks replied:

“He's in my circle. He was in me day one!”

The romance was short-lived. The show went on to reveal their relationship's end as well, including Brooks' explosive accusations that Gleb had cheated on her. She even mentioned a "threesome girl" in Joshua Tree when she asserted in one episode that she had found proof of his relationships with other women.

One of Brooks's sisters said:

“From the beginning, when I met Gleb, I could tell this was gonna be quite the saga. I am the blunt, no bullshit, truth-telling sister, I love the people around me so much, even if sometimes I come across as a bitch or just aggressive, I promise you that it's for your best interest. And I don't trust this dancer.”

Gleb Savchenko has denied all the cheating accusations, and the sisters even planned on hiring an investigator to do some digging until they found out from his ex-wife that he had “multiple affairs.”
