Director Peter Landesman's "Eleven Days" recently added its fourth actor, Rhea Seehorn, known for "Better Call Saul." More will be joining the list for the movie, which is a film adaptation of the William T. Harper novel Eleven Days In Hell: The 1974 Carrasco Prison Siege at Huntsville, Texas, based on a real-life incident.

Landesman has previously directed three films, including Parkland (2013), Concussion (2015), and Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House (2017). His writing credits include Trade (2007), Kill the Messenger (2014), The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks (2017), and the aforementioned films he directed.

Vance Howard and Vincent Newman are attached as producers of the project, and Deanna Brigidi is the casting director of Eleven Days. As of this writing, there is no release date for the movie, but we do have the plot details, which we will discuss in the sections below.

The film will follow Taylor Kitsch's Jim Estelle, who is up against a drug dealer who has created a hostage situation and will be aided by the prison's priest. According to the movie's synopsis (via IMDB),

"In 1974 Texas, a prison warden faces off against a drug dealer whose failed escape attempt turns into a tense 11-day hostage crisis, challenging everyone's moral boundaries as the standoff intensifies."

It will start filming next month in Texas.

As of this writing, only four actors are attached to the film.

First is Taylor Kitsch, and we have already mentioned that he is playing Jim Estelle, who is the head of the Texas Department of Corrections and will be up against the drug dealer. Kitsch has appeared in films like X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Lone Survivor (2013), 21 Bridges (2019), and more.

Then there's Diego Luna, who is making headlines for his role as Cassian Andor in Star Wars: Andor and will play the drug dealer Federico Carrasco. For his portrayal of Cassian, he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama.

Next, we have Jason Isaacs, who the fans will remember as the proud and wealthy Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter films. However, he recently made a buzz with his role of Timothy Ratliff in HBO's anthology TV series The White Lotus, for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He will be playing Father Joseph O’Brien in Eleven Days.

Lastly, we have Rhea Seehorn as the latest addition to the film, but her role is still a mystery. Though her role as Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul is widely praised, she has roles in several TV series and films worth praising.

The roots of Eleven Days go back to an incident that we famously know as the 1974 Huntsville Prison siege, which happened between July 24 and August 3, 1974. The main culprit, Federico "Fred" Gomez Carrasco, began the siege and was joined by two accomplices, who then executed the plan.
