According to X user Daniel RPK, a notable scooper for all things Marvel, Eman Esfandi has been cast as MJ's new boyfriend, so, along with having to accept that the people closest to him don't remember him anymore, Peter might even have to see MJ fall for someone else.After the reveal from RPK, fans began speculating about Esfandi's character, and now they're convinced that Marvel is taking a note from the comics and bringing a version of the character Paul Rabin to life with Esfandi. In the comics, Rubin was introduced when Mary Jane was trapped in an alternate dimension and, thinking she would never return, fell in love with Paul and even had two adopted kids with him.
